Fire Alarm Interface is an unimaginatively named project that I completed for All Protect Systems Inc., a small business located in Waterloo, Ontario.
It was written in Visual Basic .NET, and acts as a front end for a Microsoft Access database that stores all of the company’s customer data. The application supports user account control, smart searching on any customer attribute, automatic completion on all form input elements, and a number of different on-screen and printed data views.
Fire Alarm Interface has been in active development since 2006, and is used daily as an integral part of All Protect’s internal business processes.
